Our Patrol Division consists of four crews that provide the city with service coverage 24/7. The police officers of this division handle a vast majority of the calls for service. These officers investigate collisions, enforce traffic laws, respond to family fights which may or may not include a domestic violence assault, thefts and burglaries, stray dogs, found property, and calls for suspicious circumstances or activity. There are more than 300 different types of offense codes to describe all the different type of law enforcement service calls.
